Wollombi is approximately a 2.5-hour drive from Sydney International Airport. A great option if you're flying in from overseas or interstate.

Wollombi is about a 1.5-hour drive from Newcastle Airport, which also services domestic flights and is a smaller, easier alternative to Sydney.
Please note: If you intend on hiring a car at the airport, don’t pull a Luke and book a car for Newcastle, England.

We’ll be road-tripping from Brisbane down to the Hunter Valley on Friday and Saturday, making a few scenic stops along the way. If you’re keen to tag along or convoy with us, send us a message—we’d love to have you along for the ride!
WHERE TO STAY
The town of Wollombi offers a range of charming Airbnbs and boutique-style accommodation. We recommend booking something within a 10km radius of Wollombi Tavern to make things easy for the wedding day and the poolside recovery party. If you’re looking to book with a larger group, let us know, we’re happy to help pair people up, as there are plenty of bigger accommodation options in the area.

GETTING TO THE VENUE
A shuttle bus service will pick you up directly from your accommodation and drop you back after the celebrations. Parking is also available on site.
Once you’ve booked your stay, please send us your accommodation details so we can organise the pick-up and drop-off schedule. We’ll then let you know what time to be ready.
There will be two shuttle runs returning guests in the evening.
Please note: Taxi and Uber options are extremely limited, so the shuttle is your best bet for getting home safely.
